This was supposed to be fixed by base/Segment.C:1.224, committed on Monday at 12:50 UTC. That's before the commit to the README that you subsequently corrected, so I would expect you to have it. Check Segment.C line 1113: does it test "if (m_composition)" before calling m_composition->notifySegmentEndMarkerChange?
