Just an update from the Glasgow Pitchtracking guys...

Dougie just failed to get everything packaged up and ready to go
before his holiday, but you'll have our stuff shortly after he gets
back, say in about three weeks from now. Not that it will make a deal
of difference to any releases you want to make, but just to keep the
list "in the loop". I think he wants to tidy a few dialogues up and
do a bit more final, final testing before it goes mainstream. We are
also autoconf guys, so will have to learn a bit of scons I suspect
(although I grok python, so how hard can it be?)

FWIW, I watched the England/Portugal match in a pub in Glasgow
surrounded by a bunch of hard Glaswegians fervently supporting
Portugal. I didn't go much for football before, but understand the
experience a bit better now. I was in the company of our tame oboist
from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra who had been called to play cor
anglais for the RSNO that day. She got quite excited about England,
and her comments about the ref would certainly cause this email to be
censored if I were to reproduce them here! The Scots were pretty
jovial about it afterwards, although clearly being overjoyed at the
result. Quite a few of them shook me by the hand and said I didn't
look unhappy. I said, "Better luck next time. It's the English way"
which seemed to amuse them. My musician friend was less euphoric,
and brought forth a stream of invective about not supporting Scotland
if they ever even qualified addressed to the rest of the pub in
general, but then ironically had to go off and record "Flower of
Scotland" with the orchestra which is a candidate new Scottish
national song, apparently.

Sorry, that was a bit long and off-topic.

Pitchtracker code, properly integrated, on your radar 2-3 weeks'
time. End of message :)

Nick/.
