I should have gone shopping for widgets. That KSqueezedTextLabel is just the ticket, isn't it? I'm not married to any of this business with the "High: C8" buttons. I was just trying to convey the information in as little space as possible, and eliminate an extra set of labels. I wonder if it might be better to do something more like Low [C-2] High [C8] with two buttons and two labels, still leaving the label that says "Range" at least. It's really a question of whether space saver button I came up with is too confusing, I guess. If it isn't, then I would suggest we might want to use the same concept for the label button in the SPB. Instead of an edit and a non-editable text widget of some kind, use a button that displays the results, under some kind of constraint. -- D.
