What version of Rosegarden are you using? I don't think it was possible to do this before 1.4.0, so that's the first thing to check. Then you want to play with "Recording filters" under "Track Parameters" I think. Play with the "Device" and you should be able to sort out what goes where. I haven't actually used that new feature for anything yet, so I don't have any experience with it. Pedro Lopez-Cabanillas authored the feature, and is the best authority on how to manage your problem. He's not around at the moment, apparently, but I'm sure he will be along to fill in any blanks I am leaving empty. I rely on him to save you users from my own ignorance and stupidity concerning these matters. -- D.
