How do you think they work out this stuff?  I'm particularly puzzled by 
the fact that Guillaume is assigned more "person years" than me despite 
having far fewer lines of code, and that the total estimated "person 
years" for the project add up to far more than the total of those 
assigned to all the people actually working it.

I wonder if they're doing something clever to compensate for the fact 
that many commits make only cosmetic changes (e.g. moving code 
wholesale from one place to another, or re-indenting).  That would 
certainly have the effect of reducing my "person years" total.  Sounds 
a bit far fetched though, at least to do reliably.
