Configured with LIRC, got error, went back and changed it to FALSE, got the same error.
Looks like the root cause is I don't have the LIRC libs installed at all, which wasn't correctly detected. While I'm thinking about it... Kubuntu Dapper apt-get build-dep rosegarden4 apt-get install dssi-* sndfile-programs xdialog lilypond flac libxml-twig-perl fftw3-dev liblircclient-dev kdialog sox mpg321 I *think* that's everything. We really need to do something about this huge list of weird little things you have to find and install to make these helper scripts work. I just spent half an hour reading the damn scripts and trying to work out what Debian has available. I think I got everything. We need to put together a list and come up with a way to get package maintainers to ensure that these supplemental add-on dependencies are listed in such a way as to give users an opportunity to install them without a lot of hassle. error message: Xft notation font support : TRUE No LIRC support configured.
