You're probably right. The only thing is I still have in the back of my
head that I really ought to fix that thing that Pieter Nagel was
complaining about (program changes etc being sent even for instruments
that are not in use, which can overrule program changes that are
intended for instruments that are in use). It should be a
straightforward enough fix, but I just haven't got around to it yet.

I've also been getting a few disturbing reports (that I think are
unrelated to this, but may be related to an earlier thread from
MenTaLguY that I meant to investigate further... sigh) of MIDI
instruments getting the wrong program changes, sometimes in ways that
didn't happen with 1.4. But I don't know how reliable those are, so
perhaps we should concentrate on what we know about.

Not much. End to end it's probably only half an hour of concentrated
effort. Most of the fiddling is things like updating the web pages and
testing that the release actually builds. We should do them more
often. Perhaps if I haven't fixed the things I've said I'm going to
fix by the end of the week, let's do one then.

Meanwhile: any translators have new updates? Actually I have a horrible
feeling a translator sent me an update a couple of weeks ago and I
didn't get around to doing anything with it. I wonder who it was, and
what happened to it?
