There's no reason why we shouldn't go around and tell distro package maintainers about the new release, but I don't think anyone has done that. I know I haven't. Sometimes I will go file a wishlist item or whatever. It varies by distro, and all 40 million of them are slightly different. It's not our job to do the packaging. -- D.
