Hi
rosegarden 1.7.0 Debian ETCH backports from Musix or 64studio crash
when I try to record MIDI events using my SB Live soundcard. This is
a known issue?
I tried the Musix's backport, and crashed, so the I tried the 64studio
backport and again it crashed, I was using:
apt-cache policy rosegarden
rosegarden:
Instalados: 1:1.7.0-1~etch1
Candidato: 1:1.7.0-1~etch1
Tabla de versión:
*** 1:1.7.0-1~etch1 0
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
So then I removed it and installed the 1.6.1 backport from Musix and
it works fine (it does not crash)
If you want to try the backports
# rosegarden 1.6.1
# Repositorios de Musix GNU+Linux / Repositories
deb ftp://musix.ourproject.org/pub/musix/deb/ ./
# rosegarden 1.7.0
# Musix-testing (it's debian etch compatible but we are testing this
apps)
deb ftp://musix.ourproject.org/pub/musix/deb-testing/ ./
# rosegarden 1.7.0
# 64Studio backports
#deb http://apt.64studio.com/backports etch-backports main
I suppose you will need some debug info (kcrash didnt showed me
anything), so, if you want some strace or so, just tell me
Anyway, 1.7.0 seems to go fine for any other tasks (now I am using
1.6.1 just to play a bit, but I want to help you debug 1.7.0)
