Here's a page about how we might attempt some of the routine search-and-replace fixes: http://www.rosegardenmusic.com/wiki/dev:a_programme_for_tedium What I would really like would be if lots of developers piled in and followed the suggestions in that page (and/or explained how to improve that method) while I started work on one of the more major things (probably "removing DCOP" first) in another branch. If we actually did have more than one developer tackling this at once (a pipe-dream I realise), then it would probably make sense to "pick a library" (say, gui/rulers or commands/), notify the list upfront that that's what you're working on, and work only on that. If you would like to tackle one of the other major things that need doing for Qt4, instead, please, say so.
