All right, enough of the depressing stuff. Well, enough of _that_
depressing stuff. Let's have a different sort of depressing around
here!

Here's a page about how we might attempt some of the routine
search-and-replace fixes:

  http://www.rosegardenmusic.com/wiki/dev:a_programme_for_tedium

What I would really like would be if lots of developers piled in and
followed the suggestions in that page (and/or explained how to improve
that method) while I started work on one of the more major things
(probably "removing DCOP" first) in another branch.

If we actually did have more than one developer tackling this at once
(a pipe-dream I realise), then it would probably make sense to "pick a
library" (say, gui/rulers or commands/), notify the list upfront that
that's what you're working on, and work only on that.

If you would like to tackle one of the other major things that need
doing for Qt4, instead, please, say so. And see (and edit)

  http://www.rosegardenmusic.com/wiki/dev:notes_on_porting_to_qt4

for more general notes.
