You can't just copy a .po file from one tree to another and have it work (not even from trunk/ to one of the stable branches.) The way this used to work was you'd copy and then run ./messages.sh from the po/ directory. I'm not sure if this still works. We might need to make adjustments for KDE4's i18n() in some way. Or not. I haven't researched this yet at all. I committed an attempt at going through the usual update process. Are we far enough along for this to matter yet? How did you know the file was corrupted?
