I perhaps should add that it shouldn't need to be installed.  Unlike
1.7, this version will (or should) have enough data "built in" to it
to be able to run it just by executing the binary from anywhere, with
no installation -- see data/data.qrc (an XML file) for a list of all
the files that are now compiled in.  Installing will be necessary for
things like the device library though, and I haven't yet worked out
exactly what the deal will be for notation fonts.
