Everyday working with you folks at RG and working on this port just shows me
how little I know about everything.

oh, it bombed after I started moving widgets.
You instructions about ldd and editing /etc/ld.so.conf and re-run ldconfig did
the trick.
Earlier, I had to edit the these lines to get it to link:
src/gui/dialogs/RosegardenTransport.h:468: error: ‘ToolTipBase’ is not a member
of ‘QPalette’
src/gui/dialogs/RosegardenTransport.h:469: error: ‘ToolTipText’ is not a member
of ‘QPalette’
src/gui/dialogs/RosegardenTransport.h:483: error: ‘ToolTipBase’ is not a member
of ‘QPalette’
src/gui/dialogs/RosegardenTransport.h:484: error: ‘ToolTipText’ is not a member
of ‘QPalette’
src/gui/dialogs/RosegardenTransport.h:498: error: ‘ToolTipBase’ is not a member
of ‘QPalette’
src/gui/dialogs/RosegardenTransport.h:499: error: ‘ToolTipText’ is not a member
of ‘QPalette’
just as before.
I've also attached a screenshot of what I have.
