The traditional Qt way to do this is to invoke Qt Assistant.  I'm not
particularly keen on that, just because it's one more external
dependency, although these days Assistant is not a bad help browser.

Qt does also have a complete web browser built in to it these days
(look at the docs for QWebView), should we wish to use HTML without
just invoking the user's own browser.

Although DocBook is a total pain, one advantage it has over HTML is
that at least you don't end up spending all your time piddling with
image positioning and the like instead of actually writing the docs.
And the results have a consistent look.

I would have no strong objection to that either.  To be honest, any of
the above plans (and probably some others) would be OK with me --
you're more likely to have worthwhile views on it than I am.  We
should be focusing far more on the user experience and the level of
difficulty involved with keeping the help up to date, than on the
technical difficulty involved.
