Quite nice! This is lovely! My first thought is that it would be reasonable to remove the zoom slider now, because it doesn't really make any sense after you change to some arbitrary zoom using the mouse wheel over the panner. Either that or a pair of sliders for X and Y to compliment and intelligently linked to the panner zoom, but I think not, really, and am just tossing that thought out. My next thought is it's mandatory to come up with some alternative way of working this for when a mouse wheel is absent. Then I'm thinking it would be cool to have some way to use a modifier key or something to constrain the zoom to one axis or the other, if desired. Those are just my first thoughts though. I haven't really digested the ramifications of being able to do this. It's pretty huge, actually. I had no inkling this was even in the works, so this was a nice treat! -- D.
