Dear Emanuel and Philippe,
Thank you for the advise. I tried Emanuel's way first (option 1 or 2). I
created a script and ran the script. That worked, but I didn't want to redo
the other users applications launchers. But it did save me the step of typing
the export command. I did not try the bash.rc method though.
Philippe, I next did your method, I added the export command to the end of
etc/profile. That worked as well and was the solution I was looking for.
Thank you both for your time and effort. I can definitely move on now.
