I read a comment in a message yesterday about how somebody would do something if not for MIDI recording being broken in Thorn. I've lost track of this message, and am too busy to make another attempt at fishing it out in order to respond directly to that message.
I thought instead of spending more time on that, I'd just make sure to post something public nobody can miss, and this is it, posted to both lists. Chris worked out the issues that were causing MIDI recording to break, so MIDI recording is completely viable now. Audio recording has some issues that can block recording from working with a crap out message. If you avoid the crap out message, recording is always successful as far as I can tell, and then you may or may not get a crash. -- D.
