Oh.  Apparently whatever infrastructure stuff doesn't pick up the icon if I 
put it in /usr/local.  I don't know if we can do anything about that, but it's 
probably not worth worrying about.  It works fine if I install to /usr 
instead, where all my other applications with icons are installed.

Pick your fights and all that.

I don't think I can do anything realistic about the file icons either.  
QFileDialog does provide a mechanism for providing your own icons, but it's 
limited to a very small number of types, and the mechanism doesn't seem to be 
extensible.

MusE Score has crappy file dialogs too.  And LMMS.

And uh-oh, this speedbar stuff I set up for Rosegarden seems to have spilled 
over to all generic Qt4 applications.  We should probably try to fix that, if 
possible, although I don't see where this config data is stored off hand.

I think I'll just whistle past this one and move on to some other project now.  
I've done about all I can do, and there are bigger fish to fry.
