The last commit fixes the notation view close crash.
Committed revision 10808.
Just commented out: delete m)menu in NotationTool.
left all other code in place.
But I'm still curious about the closeEvent handler I mentioned earlier. But,
if it's not "broken" don't fix it I guess. Leaving it as is and moving on.
