If I remember aright, the whole of OldNotationView is #ifdef'd out with a NO_LONGER_USED symbol. It only remains in the repository as a reference for functions to be ported to the new code. I think it should be fine to simply delete the old tool classes -- have you tried this and found it doesn't work, or are you just checking with the list ahead of trying it?
