It's supposed to be possible to specify multiple shortcuts separated by commas, and either one of them should work. Anybody doing that needs to have a care that there are no conflicts. If you set the shortcut for "insert some low note" to "Z, Y" then how is Qt supposed to resolve the conflict when the shortcut for "switch between notes and rests" is "Y" as well? German probably wants to change English Z to Y and English Y to Z, leaving both of these as single shortcuts. On this broader issue, I've been writing developer and translator HOWTO documents all morning trying to talk myself out of giving ActionFileParser brain surgery, but it is just completely ridiculous now. ActionFileParser needs brain surgery, or else there will never be any end to all of these stupid problems. Everyone who is working on a translation should probably stop now, and everyone who is reading the new translator instructions on the wiki should ignore them for now until I get all of this sorted out. -- D.
