Doesn't work in Classic either. Dragging a note from one segment to another is effectively the same thing as deleting the note. This is probably related to the way it is only possible to select events from one segment at a time, and similar architectural limitations. I'd actually love to think up a way to solve all of that, so you could sweep select across multiple staffs, and pick up all the events from different overlapping segments at the same time, then drag or paste them somewhere else. It would require deep changes, and is definitely out of scope. -- D.
