I've compiled svn version 11634 and tried to duplicate the bug I
reported last week that I titled "core dump results from moving a
segment all the way to the left". The problem no longer occurs. I
tried the same steps twice (hit "record", wait a bit, play some notes,
stop, move the segment all the way to the left) and no crash occurred
either time. I also tried this with an earlier svn version (I think it
was 11611) and the crash did not happen then, either.

When the problem happened with the earlier version (with both the
alpha2 and beta versions, I believe), I tried the same steps 2 or 3
times and the crash occurred each time.

So the problem appears to have disappeared (probably fixed as the
byproduct of some changes made lately, hopefully never to return).

Here's the original bug description:

Title: core dump results from moving a segment all the way to the left

Severity: moderate

How to reproduce:

Record a track to create a segment with the recorded data. Don't start
playing right away so that the segment starts after the beginning of the
"piece".

Move the segment to the beginning of the "piece" (all the way to the
left in the main window). This causes rosegarden to exit with a
segmentation violation. jackd also crashes. (Does rg send jackd a signal
when it crashes?)
