They are from Qt, and they are translated by Qt in the same way as the OK, Cancel, Apply, Help buttons that we get from QDialogButtonBox, which are found in various dialogs and message boxes. Qt does not support as many languages as KDE, and these strings may not be translated into all languages. Unfortunately, if your language is not on the short list, and is not supported properly by Qt, there is nothing Rosegarden can do about this. I checked Spanish, which is one of the short list of languages Qt supports, and these strings are translated in Spanish. If they are showing up in English when you run Rosegarden in Japanese, that must be Qt's fault. -- D.
