====== ROSEGARDEN 10.02.1, codename "Thorn" RELEASED ====== The Rosegarden team is embarrassed to announce the release of version 10.02.1 of Rosegarden, an audio and MIDI sequencer and musical notation editor for Linux. This is an immediate damage-control follow-up to 10.02.
http://www.rosegardenmusic.com/ I decided to disable the buggy progress dialogs very late in the release cycle, rather than release with a lot of known irritating issues. In my haste, I failed to observe that after performing any action that would have caused a progress dialog to be shown (eg. loading a file), an invisible "phantom" progress dialog would come into existence in the top left corner of the window, masking the File, Edit and View menus from the mouse cursor, and making them difficult to reach. This fix is the only code change in 10.02.1, which is otherwise identical to 10.02. For more information about the "Thorn" series of releases, please see the original release note. This release also includes the Russian translation update that did not arrive on my desk in time to make the original deadline. This is a data-only change. -- D.
