I was aware that the cancel buttons did not work. The only one that works is
the first stage of the Lilypond print/preview.
When I resurrected the code not of the slots for the cancel button where there.
I'll have to look back as Rg Classic to see what was done there for each case.
Specifically (in RG Classic), for audio rescaling, pressing the cancel button
appears to abort the command to rescale...makes sense.
I'll try my best to duplicate the action in RG Classic if it is reasonable. If
I can't determine a sane action, I'll ask for advice.

I by no means meant this was ready for merge or anything. It was just a stable
waypoint to get feedback. There is much to do under the hood to clean it up,
and obvioulsy the cancel functionality needs restored.

One oddity, though. In prior releases of RG, we could not drop multiple files
via a drag and drop to the audio manager or the main canvas. It would only
process the fist file fro mthe list and ignore the rest. I enabled multiple in
response to fixing the audio ID bug.
The problem is that when we do this the progress dialog acts funny. This is
because the audio Manager is a single instance being invoked multiple times, so
all of the progress dialogs that generated are listening to it and getting
confused.
The Rescale command seems to handle this better, but its generate previews
command seams glitchy....hmmm
