Well, the pitch detection algorithm that this code uses is quite old, 
and only handles monophonic sounds.  For that reason, we didn't put much 
thought into the UI; the "pitch view" is at the bottom of the screen 
rather than nestled under each staff somehow (if it were to load 
multiple segments at once).
