Check out the no_more_qt3_redux branch.

Compile until failure.  (It won't take long!)

Figure out how to get it compiling past that point of failure, hopefully 
without changing the behavior.

Commit as you go.

I think if we use a short compile/fix/commit cycle, we can avoid getting in 
each other's way, and just grind through this unpleasant task the hard way, 
one problem at a time.  There are probably more efficient ways to tackle some 
of the problems, but I know if I let myself start playing around with magic 
scripts, I'm going to use that as an excuse to avoid the real work 
indefinitely.  It seems best just to take a shovel, stick it in the ground, 
and dig, one scoop at a time, instead of taking the time to design and build a 
back hoe.
