This is big, new, and interesting.

It does strike me to wonder if you discovered the triggered segment/ornament 
mechanism before building all of this.  It seems to me both bits of 
functionality could have shared some common ground.

Even so, I can't remember the last time we had a substantial new feature that 
came complete with documentation.  That's probably more amazing than the 
feature itself, and the feature is an impressive piece of work!
