That didn't work. On further investigation, the void prototype for
signal gotSelection is used almost everywhere except in
MatrixScene::setSelection, and slotUpdateMenuStates gets selection by
itself, doesn't need it passed. Looks like there might have been a
half-implemented plan to pass the selection by argument.
So I changed MatrixScene::setSelection to use the void prototype.
Result: Success! Now it works. I will commit it now.
