Seems reasonable.

The current matrix and notation editors were put together by transplanting a
bunch of old functionality into a whole new framework, function by function.
It was a tedious process that came down to comparing side by side with the old
KDE Rosegarden to try to figure out what was missing, and then hunting it down
and transplanting it, which involved a lot of rewriting and reinventing, and
some intentional omission.

The only thing I find surprising is that more things weren't missed, and more
things weren't broken along the way. I have no reason to suspect you had a
hand in breaking anything here, and I appreciate that you've found this issue,
and worked out a plan to get it fixed.

I'm sure it will all come out just fine.

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
