I just dinked around with a somewhat different problem on the user list. With channel set to fixed, you can put controllers in one segment and notes in the other, and have one affect the other. I think you pretty much took care of all of this in one fell swoop. Then again, I've signed off on stuff before that some user figured out how to break. There's no substitute for actually using Rosegarden to do stuff, and I'm afraid I haven't done that in a few years now. Maybe here shortly. My daughter wants to learn to play the trumpet, so I might have some scores to transpose and fiddle with to get my hands on this stuff for myself. -- D.
