I committed the rest of my update figuration changes to the
update-figurations branch.

If you remember, back before the Sourceforge upgrade I hurriedly committed
an unfinished version of this. I posted a longish message explaining what
it does - I won't tax your patience by repeating it all, but basically if
you remember auto-figurations, it's a command for automatically resyncing
them. Change the chords, press a button, now your arpeggios (or whatever
figuration you made) still match your chords.

"It's 90% complete. Most importantly, there is NO UNDO yet." Now it's
pretty complete and it does undo properly. It's out there for inspection
now.

On a related note, there are two other branches that have been out there
for a while. I've been using both heavily - I just base a `working'
version on them - and they seem stable.

 * The refactor-mapped-buffer branch; basically it straightens out the
segment mapper hierarchy, implementing some clean-ups Ted suggested. No
functional changes, but ISTM much more readable and maintainable.

 * edit-controllers. Pretty much unchanged since earlier this year. I
think I put in a bugfix or three in the last months. I use this heavily
and I like it.

Shall I go ahead and merge them to trunk? Does that timing work
reasonably for the next release?

        Tom Breton (Tehom)
