This one I'm not attached to. It's there for historical reasons. When
the controller editing got its own menu, it seemed right to continue
providing the old menu entry too.

That one I'm somewhat attached to.
Right now, controllers submenu has a cut/copy/paste trio. Cut and Copy
are specialized for controllers, Paste is not. We could tell everybody
that it's the same as ordinary event paste and they should go look in the
other menu, but ISTM it's far easier just to have a menu entry there in
the standard Cut/Copy/Paste trio arrangement. That was my thinking at the
time, and I still think that makes sense.

Yes, agreed. Worst case, we could provide a forwarding slot function. I
googled about qt warning menu duplicate item, but it wasn't terribly
helpful.
