I saw that. I haven't tested yet, but thinking back, I did all my test
scenarios with single segments.

Music notation is really complicated, with infinite possibilities.
There is always a new problem lurking around the corner. Fix one thing,
break something else. Get both of those working, and now a third thing
is broken.

I will probably release Sunday, and let's go ahead and schedule a 15.12
release on the books too. I would like to use the transport controls on
my MIDI keyboard, and it shouldn't take a lot of work to hook them up to
Rosegarden.

I'm not sure what to do with the sliders and knobs though. They're
supposed to be volume and pan controls, but who works with only 8
tracks? How do I map them so they do something relevant?

The best way would be some kind of really complicated, configurable
interface where you hook things up JACK style. This knob routes to
reverb of that instrument. This slider routes to volume of this instrument.

I think I just decided to ignore them for now, and only implement the
transport controls. I can do the rest one day in the future, when I
only have one job instead of two. I work too many hours right now.
