David Faure found a tuplet bug that is fixed in the big-tuplet-rewrite branch, and he found a bug in the branch that does not exist in trunk.
I lost track of what all of that was about, where it was going, and how far it had gotten. I know Tom's work was considerable, and involved, and he wanted to test it thoroughly before merging it. I don't know how far that testing got. I am not the best qualified to evaluate any of this, to decide what to merge how, or anything. I have barely ever used tuplets in the real world, and I find the whole topic confusing. If you're around, Tom, this would be a great time to chime in and make suggestions what I should do. If Tom isn't around, I'm open to suggestions from anyone. This is one of those things where I feel like it is highly appropriate to strike while the iron is hot and take action, but where I am so far out of my depth that I scarcely know what action to take. My default in situations like this is to do nothing, and I feel like doing nothing would be a shame. -- D.
