Getting continuous integration looks hacky, and involves finding a third
party service provider.

Speaking for myself only at this point, it would not be difficult to
convince me to abandon dear old SourceForge. I've used Assembla and
CloudForge for commercial repos (trying to do this stuff for a living,
but not yet making any real headway), and, tragically, I even have a
Github account. For the love of all that is good, do not let anyone
know I have an account at Github! It will ruin my reputation as an
impossible curmudgeon!

The bottom line is we stayed with SourceForge for the continuity, and
then they shattered the continuity anyway.

I strongly dislike everything about the new SourceForge, and it would be
trivial to lure me into considering some other solution. Obviously,
this is a decision we need to reach after much deliberation, and I am
venting about SourceForge more than I am making a formal proposal at
this moment.
