I've been thinking about this too, Richard. I'm going to skip getting into this just now, but I think we should put the code back together, support JACK MIDI, etc. We're pretty much aiming in the same direction. It even gives me a reason to get off the fence about buying a Windows machine. My Android game is already working in Unreal Engine 4, but I can't deploy the damn thing to Android from Linux. Seriously? Yes. Seriously. So I either buy a new computer or I start over for the fifth time, and I am bored with learning engines and APIs that never work out. My first game is going to flop anyway. I need to start iterating and improving, and stop dicking around with engines that never work. It all ads up to this being a good time for Rosegarden on Windows to be a real thing. We'll have to hash it out soon, but not just now. -- D.
