I finally had a minute to knock the slashed grace note hack together. It's not especially pretty, but it works just fine.
To use, just highlight a grace note you want a slash on, and hit the "add slash" button, or probably the / key too. The result looks ugly in the editor, but it looks nice on the page, and this approach only required 10 lines in one file. It seems possible to improve on this by tweaking the rendering, and limiting the slash count on grace notes to 1. It still wouldn't be terribly intuitive, but... Well, this isn't our first LilyPond hack, and probably won't be our last. -- D.
