I think it's potentially interesting to compare seeing as they are of similar ages - and see where and why Rosegarden is still going in the face of this 'competition'. There was however always competition - and that's almost the point - in OSS it doesn't matter how many users you have or don't have. It's often done for the love of it - both from a developer and a user side. This is what I'll be exploring in some way in the talk alongside architectural factors that I believe are contributing to its continued usage. R
