Hi Markus,
I made the switch several years ago and have never looked back. This list is
very active with lots of knowledgeable folks. Many of the folks who write
the code are really active on here and are really helpful (as can be seen
with Michael's response). I have made feature requests that were included in
subsequent releases. I have been using music software of one type or another
for over 20 years. Rosegarden has been my most satisfying experience. As
with all software, there are peculiarites to get used to but the flexibility
I have with it far outweighs any drawbacks.
