Hey there,
I just installed Rosegarden (11.06) on Ubuntu 11.04 today and gave it
a shot. At some point it behaved weirdly, got rendering issues, which
I "solved" by closing each single window/view, and finally killing the
whole program. Unfortunately, I didn't pay too close attention to what
I did, really.
Anyway, now when I start Rosegarden, I get rendering problems with the
main window. It's simply not drawn, as if the program had frozen. I
know that it's there though (and not frozen), because by hovering
certain invisible elements I can get their tooltips. I can also access
the preferences or open other views just fine (e.g. by double-clicking
an invisible spot).
I tried re-installing rosegarden, installing the previous version
(10.10 I believe), but I get the same behavior. I suspect that
rosegarden still has a settings folder somewhere that didn't get
deleted/recreated that might cause this behavior. (I can see in the
preferences that some other settings are still set the way I set them
on first run). I can't seem to find where Rosegarden saves its
preferences though. The 'rosegarden' folder in my home directory
doesn't seem to be it.
Any ideas?
