Just a few observations (OpenSuse-12.2/KDE4) with ref to the problems with qjackctl.
I normally load qjckctl, qsynth, Zyn and rosegarden in that order. Few MAJOR probs so long as everything stays up but if any of the quartet stumble, hang or crash then all hell breaks loose and I may need to do up to 4 reboots to sort out the mess. It helps if in such a case I quickly do a pkill on all 4 before the first reboot. If on the other hand everything lasts the sesion and this time "I" want to put and end to it then it helps a LOT if I first click Disconnect-All in the qjackctl connections map. I know everyone wanted to hear from me again, so there :-) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ LogMeIn Central: Instant, anywhere, Remote PC access and management.
