I've had one program adamantly stick with a wiiiiiide window: The KDE3 applet for ripping CDs. It always came up with a window much wider than my laptop's 1280 screen width, and refused to let me resize it. The window was NOT maximized. That was running under KDE3. I haven't used it since moving from KDE3, though. -- David gn...@hawaii.rr.com authenticity, honesty, community http://clanjones.org/david/ http://dancing-treefrog.deviantart.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Monitor your physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure from a single web console.
