Hi,

I've been using rosegarden with fluidsynth(qsynth) over ubuntu for some
time, and organized soundbanks by using variation feature ("show variation
list based on LSB"), what used to work well.

After upgrading to rosegarden 11.11.42 (available in ubuntu 12.04), I'm
getting some trouble regarding that feature.
Although studio setup remains the same (including instrument banks), when
playing back, rosegarden seems to bypass assigned program variation, by
always forcing default program for assigned program number.

For instance if I choose program 19 ("Percussive organ") and I have
variations:
- 1: "percussive organ" (default)"; and
- 2: "detuned organ 2"
Even if I set "2" as variation in instrument parameter box, rosegarden
forces "percussive organ".

I believe that's not a missing "program change" issue, since even if I edit
channel assignments "by hand" trough qsynth (setting it as it should be
like instrument parameter box shows), when playing, I can see that
rosegarden changes that assignment (unfortunately in a wrong way).

I've upgraded to rosegarden 12.04 and the issue remains...
Any ideas or any workaround ?
Thanks in advance.
