OK. Now that I fetched KMidiMon, I can see it.
This wasn't a use case I was aware of, but now that I see what's missing,
it's not that hard to fix. The path thru the code is long but simple.
I'm compiling it now and I'll see if it fixes this.
The fix, if it works: MidiMixerWindow::slotUpdateInstrument, which
ultimately receives the IPB's signal and others, now arranges an update
for each controller. New methods for several classes involved in getting
this update out to external MIDI.
