Hi everyone, I am glad to be a RG user and have subscribed to this list to get help with using this awsome sequencer. I wish to do advanced General Midi sequencing using the GM soundfont I downloaded from synaptic. I do not know how to use the synth built into the SB Live! card in Rosegarden. I do not want to use qsynth, but to check the box in Rosegarden dealing with loading a soundfont at startup (i.e. asfxload). How do I configure this GM soundfont to be used on a track in Rosegarden, using the SB Live as the soundfont synthesizer? Has anyone done this? I would REALLY appreciate anyone's comments on this subject. Thanks again, MIke S
