Thanks a meg!  I'm having extended internet outages these weeks :-(

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean, I do have a rough idea though. 
But since the new banks are here to stay (for sure) I thought I really had no 
other option but to begin converting every RG file (got about 20 of 60 done). 
The 'upper' is that in return for the work I do get better files; all in all I 
still think the ultimate solution is a rewrite of the applicable code but that 
really isn't my business ...it' s so easy to ask compared to delivering :-)
