You can try my latest stable version compiled on Debian 12.
Visit my website "http://www.stockinger.org/"; and klick on "Musik" in the menu 
bar.
There you can download the stable version (!) "rosegarden_24.06-1_amd64.deb".

Generally the way to upgrade to a newer version is to build it
yourself. The instructions are here:

We'll be glad to help if you encounter issues along the way.

Your customizations will remain as all versions of Rosegarden save
