Hello Everyone,

I am trying to enhance the zh_CN translation of Rosegarden, however I
found the functionality related to Figuration and Parameter Chord
totally not documented and I cannot deduce its behavior based on trial-

Could anyone describe it and make me understand this functionality
better?

My responsibility since I wrote it.

Think of, say, Bach's C major prelude or Schubert's Ave Maria. Many bars have the same arpeggio structure but on different chords.

"Figuration" is intended to let you repeat a figure relative to some chord or similar structure rather than absolutely literally. "Parameter Chord" says what it's relative to, typically a chord.

So the idea is that instead of manually writing almost the same thing over and over, you can write it once and then say (with the Parameter Chord stuff) "Measure 1 is C major, measure 2 is Am, ...". It's nice if you change your mind about what harmony you want to use, then you just change a parameter chord and the notes automatically adjust.

Let me know if you need anything more.
